Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro (ゲゲゲの鬼太郎)

Have you heard about "Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro"? It's a Japanese manga series created in 1960. It is best known as yokai, a class of spirit-monster to which all of the main characters belong. The word "Ge Ge Ge" (ゲゲゲ) in the title is a cackling noise in the Japanese language.
And this is famous in Sakaiminato, it's a 40-45 mins away from the hotel. They have made this small port town a major tourist attraction. If you visit Sakaiminato Town you can get their on a specially designed local train, or fly into Yonago Kitaro Airport or sail in on the ship dedicated to the characters. Whichever way you decide to get there you will spend a great time walking up and down Mizuki Shigero road, join in on the stamp hunt, and eat a huge selection of character inspired sweets.

They also have a store that inspired by the characters. It also has a cafe inside that you may enjoy because it has the characters on it. We tried their hot cafe latte that helps us to prevent the cold from outside. There's also has a game like gacha that you can get a plenty of prizes!
And you might also enjoy this one, it's a mini horror house that has a Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro characters and yokai. It has a small game that you need to do while inside. Maybe a lot of children will cry inside because of darkness. But the adults must be careful also, it might be shock you while inside!
