Yomegashima is the only island in Lake Shinji, located about 200m west of Nishimashima Town, Matsue city. It's the inaccesible Bride Island in honour of a legendary bride who drowned. About 200m from shore the Lake Shinji near Matsue. It has a small temple with a Torii gate dedicated to Goddess Benten. Looks nice from shore both morning where its pine trees hold away and at night when it has lights on it. Small boats take you there on special occassions.
