Last weekend, we heard about this festival called "Takeuchi Festival" in Yawata-chou so we tried to go and see. It has a lot of stall that you can buy some famous food in Japan usually sell in festival like takoyaki, yakisoba, kakigori (shaved ice), karage (fried chicken), and many more!

This festival is always celebrated in the end of August (Aug. 31). A shrine dedicated to the God of longevity. The festival is lined with hundreds of stalls until late at night and is full of nearly 100,000 worshipers. From 4 AM on September 1, a mysterious procession called the "Otoko-no-Mikishiki" will continue to the trip.
  • It is crowded with hundreds of people that even in late night time, there always a lot of people buying some foods and walking around the area that you can't think about the time.

Why don't you try to come next time? ^u^
